India's IT exports may touch $60 billion by 2010 from about $23 billion at present, Nasscom President Kiran Karnik today said. An ambitious growth rate of 30% and exports would also generate huge employment opportunities for 2.5 lakh IT professionals, he said. Karnik, who was speaking at a seminar "Destination Nagpur" organised by Vidarbha Economic Development, the city was also attracting big IT majors such as Satyam. He said IT industry was playing a big role every sphere, be it banking, automobile, airlines or aviation and more efficently in construction business. |
