IT investors' meet in Belgaum too

After the IT investors' meet in Hubli, it is now the turn of Belgaum to host such a meet. The BIC (BPO-ITeS-CRM) Society has decided to hold the IT investors meet at Belgaum in the first half of November.
 
The decision was taken at a meeting of the BIC Society's executive committee in Belgaum.
 
The meeting resolved to showcase Belgaum to potential investors by preparing publicity materials to woo investors to Belgaum.
 
BIC society coordinator Ashok Patil said here that the meeting discussed the need to identify large tracts of lands near the airport so that private developers could develop the same for attracting IT investments to Belgaum.
 
Amita Prasad, regional commissioner, Balaveera Reddy, vice chancellor of VTU, Prabhakar Kore, chancellor of KAHE, S M Kulkarni, chairman of Karnataka Law Society and Abu Sheikh, chairman of Sheikh group of Institutions attended the meeting.
 
Kore lauded the efforts of BIC in training young graduates to make them employable in ITTeS sector. Balaveera Reddy promised support from VTU for training teachers and also to extend satellite education to all graduates as is being done for engineers.
