In the private sector, Satyam has received SEZ clearance for three IT SEZs "� one each in Bahadurpally village near Hyderabad in 10.5 hectares, in Madhurawada in an area of 20 hectares and in 12 hectares at the Hitec City, Hyderabad "� offering 30,000 jobs. |
Computer Associates India Private Limited is setting up IT SEZ in Nanakramguda in 12.34 hectares that will provide direct employment for 5,000 people and AP Techno Projects Private Limited, a joint venture with L&T, has proposed to set up an IT SEZ in Serilingampally mandal, near Madapur, offering 23,000 jobs. Raheja IT Park Limited is setting up an IT SEZ in 36.62 hectares in Madapur near Hitec City with an employment potential of 30,000 jobs, the release said. |

Of them, two are being promoted by the state government, which include a 552.89-hectare SEZ in Shamshabad near the upcoming international airport and a 55.6-hectare SEZ at Poppalguda in Hyderabad with a total direct employment potential of 1.35 lakh jobs. |
Of the remaining two SEZs, one is proposed to be set up by Wipro Technologies in Manikonda village near Hyderabad in 4.42 hectares and the other by K Raheja IT park in Pocharam village near Hyderabad. The two propose to create a direct employment of 7,400 jobs and 50,000 jobs respectively, the press release added. |
