Jataayu ties up with two firms

Mobile software firm Jataayu Software has signed two separate agreements with Open-Plug and Trolltech to expand its business.
 
Jataayu's software products, including browsing and messaging applications, will be available to handset makers directly from Open-Plug.
 
"Jataayu's WAP browsing and messaging solutions have been used by Open-Plug's customers for more than one year. As part of our agreement, we will deliver and support their applications," said Eric Baissus, CEO of Open-Plug.
 
Jataayu has entered into partnership with Trolltech, which makes software faster to build and easier to use.
 
The Jataayu-Trolltech partnership will offer customers a pre-integratede mobile application suite with Jataayu WAP browser, MMS and IM client solutions on the Qtopia application development platform.
 
"The partnership with Trolltech opens up new market segments for Jataayu and the ability to offer customers a pre-integrated, complete solution for Linux-based devices. Our mutual customers will benefit significantly with the ability to bring devices faster to market," said Raj Kesarimall, head, Mobile Devices BU, Jataayu Software.
