Kavveri Telecom acquires Canada's Trackcom Systems Intl

Telecom products maker Kavveri Telecom today said it has acquired Canada-based Trackcom Systems International for an undisclosed amount.     

In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, Kavveri Telecom said its wholly-owned subsidiary Kavveri Technologies Int has acquired Trackcom Systems International.     

With the acquisition Kavveri would have access to a vast portfolio of high technology products and antennas useful for space, defence and telecom applications.     

"Acquisition of TSI is in line with our company's strategy for the global markets. This acquisition brings additional high technology products into our portfolio which will strengthen Kavveri's position in defence and telecom markets," Kavveri Telecom Products Managing Director Shivakumar Reddy said.     

 

Shares of Kavveri Telecom were trading at Rs 49.25 in the morning trade, up 4.90 per cent on the BSE.
