The company currently prints consumer bills for MTNL in India.
According to sources, "We are in talks with all the telecom companies in eastern India and will very soon close deals with one."
Kodak is already printing the consumer electricity bills for CESC and stamps for post offices.
Kodak's machines and software used for data printing come with a speed of 1,000 feet per minute.
Currently, most consumer bills are printed in laser, however, Kodak is pitching a shift from laser printing to continuous inkjet printing, which is expected to shorten the printing processes.

Kodak's graphics communications department is eyeing a growth of 30 per cent in eastern India on the back of growth in industries like newspapers, packaging and digital printing.
According to the source, "Eastern India currently is the second fastest growing market in India, after north India, for graphic communications. However, the region is adopting newer technologies faster in order to shorten the processes and the time consumed otherwise."
