LG launches world's first 4K OLED TV today

The OLED TV has a sleek apperance and and claims to project 33 million pixels and precise details

South Korean electronics giant LG launched the 4K OLED TV on Tuesday in New Delhi. “Perfect black. Perfect colour” is  the tagline for this curved Television (TV) set.  
 
Howard Lee, Director,Home Entertainment, LG India introduced the world’s first 4K OLED TV and promised the ultimate immersive cinematic experience. The OLED TV has a sleek apperance and and claims to project 33 million pixels and precise details and better visual quality compared to LED TVs. LG seem to have not only introduced a new TV but a new category of television sets.
 
This new LG offering is all about black and harps on the theme that perfect black leads to perfect colours. This slim curved beauty comes with self-lighting pixel as well as easier to navigate smart TV function.
 
 
OLED is yet to be a household name but has already wowed a generation of limited users with its high end features. LG plans to speed up this process and ensure that OLED TV becomes the  popular choice. The LG TV is packed with a pair of 3D glasses.
 
LG said that OLED TV was the future of TV viewing experience and the company took the credit for  bringing this experience to India.
 
The LG  65 4k OLED TV is available at select LG brand stores and is priced at Rs 5,79,000 and the 55 4K version at Rs 3,84,900. The event allowed us to experience the black beauty for a short period and honestly it looked regal. Now only time will tell how worth the price this one is.
