On the initiatives, Ajit Edlabadkar, country manager-India, Wind River said, "The initiatives will provide world class development tools to support development on both Linux and VxWorks. These will be supplemented by an industry standard distribution of embedded Linux which supports interoperability with VxWorks too." |
"As Embedded Linux matures, the realm of possibilities for embedded operating systems will grow, and Wind River has put itself in a strong position to be able to take advantage of the growth opportunity," added Ajit Edlabadkar. |
Wind River announced the general availability of Wind River Workbench 2.0. |
