Mahindra Satyam bags two orders in Brazil

Software firm Mahindra Satyam (earlier Satyam Computer Services) today said that it has won two contracts in Sao Paulo in Brazil, which would executed by its subsidiary Satyam Servicos De Informatica.

"Our goal is to be the top player in the Latin American market leveraging Mahindra Satyam's existing global delivery model. The Latin American market is growing rapidly and we see immense growth opportunity in the region," Mahindra Satyam Senior Vice-President Arvind Malhotra said in a release

The IT firm did not disclose any further details about the two contracts.

Satyam Servicos De Informatica has also appointed Alberto Rosati as the country head for this operation.

 

In keeping with the market dynamics, Satyam Servicos De Informatica Ltda will be increasing its headcount to over 100 associates over the span of the next six months, it added.
