Men looking to boost their facebook status can now apply for a 'virtual girlfriend'.

Website like NamoraFake.com and CloudGirlfriend.com promises users virtual girlfriend. NamoraFake.com will conjure up a fake girlfriend to round out your virtual identity.

This is a Brazilian website which charges a minimum of $10 (around Rs 540) for three days, and $99 to keep the service running for a month. Under the options you can either opt for an ex-girlfriend, or a virtual girlfriend. Namoro will make the lie convincing through matching you up with your “girlfriend’s” fake profile, complete with 30 days of comments and the relationship status change.

Cloud Girlfriend promises users the ability to create their 'perfect girlfriend', who will post messages on their wall, giving the impression that they are in a long distance relationship.

The one thing that generates the maximum buzz on Facebook is the change of status from 'Single' to being in 'relationship'. For those who have not been able to change their status from Single, this can be a cause of heartburn for many.

This is not all, you can also buy your friends online if your not bothered to build your image by showing off your relation status alone.

But do not be surprised if for some reason your fake girlfriend's profile vanishes one day, as Facebook has stated in the recent past that it is seriously looking at removing fake account. The social networking website has about 1 billion users.
