Meta-i Tech to expand

Meta-i Technologies, a start-up firm incubated at the N S Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning under IIM-B, is stepping forward and has announced the setting up of its online assessment centre, I-Gauge Online Testing & Assessment Centre.
 
Meta-I focusses on providing end-to-end services in designing and delivering easy-to-use competence assessments and educational processes for both the academia and corporations.
 
The company has delivered approx 150,000 plus assessments till date and hopes to deliver approximately 250,000 plus assessments in the current year.
 
The company's new initiative, I-Gauge Online, brings in flexibility to the pre-interview assessments by giving the option to the candidate to chose the time to take the test. Said M Lankalingam, director, Meta-i: "These centres are proposed to be equipped with independent testing assessments dedicated centres designed to provide a highly secured testing environment."
 
He added that the architecture of the system is designed in a manner wherein central server located at the central hub host the data and the relevant test items are fed online to the local server located at the testing centres where the candidate logs in.
 
"The local server is ineffectual to store any test items and this has been designed to ensure the security of the test items," he noted.
 
The company added that candidates registered for the test will be recorded on the biometric access control system to ensure access to the testing area is available only to the registered candidates.
