Microsoft launches cloud training programme

Program 'me' will upskill partners to help 10,000 SMEs across 250 cities to move to cloud

As part of its initiative to accelerate cloud computing adoption in India, Microsoft today announced the launch of cloud training program for its partner ecosystem called Azure Vidyapeet and GuruVarta. These programmes will enable SMEs transition to cloud. It will upskill partners to help 10,000 SMEs across 250 cities to move to cloud. 

The worlds largest software maker also launched a special Cloud Accelerator Programme, that will allow government departments, state owned enterprises and BFSI organization to move to cloud.

Microsoft launched a Cloud Decision Framework for public sector companies, government departments, banks and financial services companies. The framework builds on international ISO standards and incorporates India-specific guidelines from IRDA, IDRBT and the IT Act.
