Microsoft India is planning to add 200 skill development centres by the end of this year to its existing 1,400 across the country as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR).
“We have already trained 300,000 students under the Microsoft Unlimited Potential (MSUP) programme, of which 150,000 have already been employed,” Vikas Goswami, director (CSR), Microsoft India, said on the sidelines of an NGO connection workshop.
The workshop was organised by Aide et Action International South Asia (AEAI) on enhancing livelihood opportunities through information and communication technology (ICT) at ni-msme here.
