NIIT, IIM-A ink deal for EDP via broadband

NIIT has signed a strategic alliance with Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) to offer executive development programmes (EDP) using broadband technology.

According to a release issued by NIIT to the BSE today, IIM-A will provide content by designing quality programmes and delivering it through an inter-disciplinary team of experienced faculty, the company will provide the technology for delivering the programmes.

"The company will also integrate its learning management and e-learning systems with the technology, and implement and manage the overall student experience," the release added.

Dr. Bakul H Dholakia, director of IIM-A, and Vijay Thadani, chief executive officer of NIIT, signed the agreement today.

IIM-A will initially offer two programmes in the areas of general management and strategic business communications, the release added.
