As she waits eagerly for a newer version of the iPhone to hit the market, she wonders why massage chairs aren't the rage these days.
What's the one gizmo you can't wait to get your hands on?
The new iPhone, which is coming out July 17 this year. It is cheaper than the first one, has more memory so it can be used as a replacement for my iPod, and has a better camera so I can take higher-quality pictures than ever before.
What's the most overpriced gadget in the market right now?
I think the TomTom is too overpriced. It's been in the market for a long time, yet there hasn't been a drastic reduction in price.
Who's your gizmo guru?
Steve Jobs for sure. The iPod and iPhone have revolutionised music and media.
What is the first gadget you ever bought?
The Nintendo was my first. I used to love Super Mario Brothers, Duck Hunt and Contra.
Name a gizmo you wouldn't trade for a million dollars.
My Clarisonic Skincare brush, which leaves my skin squeaky clean, clear and exfoliated.
What gadget hasn't yet received its due in the market?
I think electronic massage chairs are amazing, but not many people actually buy them. Sharper Image always has a line of people waiting to sit on one and try it, but not many people ever seem to commit to buying one.
Is there a gadget you regret buying?
My first iPod mini, which had a very low battery life "" a better version came out right after, but I couldn't justify spending money on another so soon after buying the original.
What gadget do you use as a stress-buster?
Wii Fit by Nintendo is amazing. I do yoga on it, and it's a great way to unwind after a hectic day. PlayStation 2's Karaoke Revolution is a fun way to relax with friends and family as well.
What's your highest-performance yet easiest-to-handle gadget?
The iPhone wins hands down. It can do so much, and at the same time is the most user-friendly phone I have ever owned.
Is there any gizmo you own that you haven't yet been able to figure out?
I can figure out anything!
What gadget do you carry with you everywhere you go, apart from a cellphone?
My turbocharged electronic Mace dispenser, because I feel safe with it at all times.
What gizmo would you find embarrassing to own?
A Segway, which is a convenient way to travel for some, but I would prefer a bicycle. |
