Hyderabad-based Northgate BPO Services Limited expects its revenues to be between Rs 40 crore and Rs 45 crore by the end of the current fiscal as compared to Rs 8.3 crore last fiscal.

For the first three quarters of the current fiscal, the company recorded a turnover of Rs 30 crore with a net profit of Rs 3.69 crore.

Addressing a press conference, Venkat S Meenavalli, managing director of Northgate BPO Services Limited, said, "Till now the telecom business of the company contributed around 80 per cent of our revenue. Moving ahead, we expect 60 per cent of the revenue to come from the online advertising business and the rest from the telecom business."

According to him, the company expects to maintain a growth rate of around 60 per cent in the next two fiscals. Meenavalli said that the company is looking at launching the beta version of the Globe7 (G7) SIP Phone by the end of this month.

"We are looking at the commercial launch of the final product in the global market during the first quarter of the next financial year," he added.

G7 is the first free SIP soft client powered by voice, video and music. "Its SIP converts laptops and desktops into a mobile public-switched telephone network (PSTN) phone. It also provides high quality video-conferencing, video chat and real-time communication. The phone's powerful music player can play MP3, MPEG and all formats of music," Meenavalli said.

He said that the company would not charge the software but only the services.

The company is also looking at launching the SIP Phone in a memory stick. "The memory stick would have the software inside it which can be carried around," Meenavalli said.
