Now, an app to form healthy habits in office

Unlike most business-to-consumer apps, Zoojoo.be is a business-to-business app

Recently, a lot of apps focusing on fitness and well-being have been doing the rounds in app stores. Most of these are focused on keeping a track on your daily activities, including food and physical habits and calorie-counting.

However, what we do not realise is, more than tracking our calorie intake and food habits, it is more important to form healthy habits. Zoojoo.be, a game-based social wellness app, aims to emphasise the importance of habit formation for a healthy lifestyle.

For instance, a user can take a task, say, climbing steps instead of taking the elevator, and set weekly challenges. The user gains points each time she/he completes a challenge successfully and can take up more. He/she can also customise the challenges according to his/her own needs.

The app, with an easy-to-navigate and impressive user interface, is available for Android and iOS platforms.

However, unlike most business-to-consumer apps, Zoojoo.be is a business-to-business app. This means that the app is not individual-centric but leverages the social network of a workplace, where employees of a company can compete with each other in gaining credit points and likewise takes the game forward.

The app is already in use among employees of companies like Mindtree and Unisys. The users can add friends, compete with them, stream and share their achievements, even on other social media like Facebook and challenge friends to dares on the app.

The app provides an option for health-conscious companies to cultivate healthy habits among its employees and therfore, could improve productivity.
