Online counseling for Orissa Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) will begin from July 3 and students can go for the e-admission process by accessing the website ojee.nic.in, said OJEE officials.
To avoid any technical glitch during the e-counseling, the exam body has decided to start mock counseling 10 days prior to the e-counseling.
The counseling fee has been fixed at Rs 450 per student. Students have to submit a fee of Rs 16,000 for admission into government colleges and Rs 30,000 for private colleges, which is non refundable.
Students can give the names of their preferred colleges at the e-counseling. However, to avoid last year’s allegation about a software fault in opting colleges, the JEE body said students can finally choose a college at identified nodal centers and will take a print out thereafter.
Besides, the students can get the seat allocation alert through SMS.
The seats will be upgraded automatically this year, said Sitaram Mohapatra, vice-chairman of OJEE.
