Mumbai-based IT service and business solution company, Patni Computers Systems Limited, has applied for a 15-20 acre land in the upcoming IT special economic zone (SEZ) being developed by the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) in Gandhinagar. |
The company is planning to invest Rs 300 crore for expanding its operations in Gujarat. |
The company already has a centre at Gandhinagar GIDC, which is working at full capacity with around 250 employees. |
"Ideally, we expect to acquire 15-20 acre, which could house at least 5,000 professionals," said Sunil Joshi, associate vice-president (software), Patni Computer Systems Ltd. |
