Prakash Software Solutions, a part of the Vadodara-based Prakash Group, in association with Itmc of Denmark, has launched User Management Solution (UMS), a tool for automation in user management and access control, in India.

According to the joint venture partners, UMS “is a time, resource and financially-effective system that enables one to add, change and terminate users across all infrastructure and applications”.

“After three years of product development and piloting, the joint venture has launched this product for the first time in India. The Danish firm has provided the technology,” said Hardik Shah, managing director, Prakash Software Solutions.

“Initially, the product will be launched for the pharma industry as the drug companies have to comply with the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) regulatory demands,” he said. Other industries in the country could also benefit from this, especially those which closely deal with the US and Europe, he added.

The product is already a success in Europe, said Soren Isaksen, CEO of Itmc. “We have been working with enterprises operating in the shipping, pharmaceuticals, energy and financial sectors and governmental institutions and departments in Europe,” Isaksen said.
