| Prithvi Information Q1 net up 81% |

| Prithvi Information Solutions, an IT solutions and services provider has announced an 80.6% growth in net profit for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 (Q1FY07) at Rs 18.48 crore as compared with Rs 10.23 crore in Q1FY06. Its net income from sales has increased 42.3% to Rs 139.82 crore as compared with Rs 98.22 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The EPS for the period has increased to Rs 10.22 as against Rs 8.95 in Q1FY06. } The company has added five new clients during the quarter bringing its total client base to 70. It is estimating net profit of Rs 77.5 crore and a total income of Rs 570 crore for FY07, a YoY increase of 44% and 26% respectively. EPS is estimated to reach Rs 42.87 during the year.
