In a bid to serve its customers better, Reliance Infocomm has so far set up 46 customer interface operating units (CIOU) across Rajasthan, Reliance WebWorld and Reliance WebWorld Express being some of them. |
While Jaipur alone has 19 CIOUs, Jodhpur has 9, and Udaipur has 8. Kota, Bikaner and Alwar are other places to have CIOUs. |
These customer interface units operate over and above the company's round-the-clock call centre. Customer Interface Operating Units (CIOU) is a company and franchised outlet of Reliance Infocomm, which handles end-to-end customer activities such as acquisition, and customer care "" handling complaints & queries, bill distribution and collection, and any other request. Every customer's (postpaid) billing address is mapped to the closest CIOU. |
These CIOUs even provide the customer the facility to pay his bill or make enquiries about it while he is away from the home location. Requests for any change pertaining to the bill can also be done from there. |
All CIOUs in the state and the country are connected to a common back-end, which enables the customer to get seamless support anywhere in the country. |
To bring in further clarity, the bill format has also been made simple yet informative. The detailed breakup of charges, applicable rate-plan, payment details etc. are clearly mentioned in the new format. |
Efforts on the customer care front have paid off with circles showing a sharp drop in customer complaints and efficient handling of customer queries. |
While CIOUs form a major part of the customer care movement the company has unleashed in the circle, they are not the only ones. Free handset camps have been organised at regular intervals at these CIOUs too. |
The company is also focusing on educating customers on various schemes and plans, and helps customers optimise their bills. Over 6,000 customers have benefited from 25 such camps in the last six months alone. |
