Ramco bags Rs 400 crore order

Ramco Systems has bagged an order from the Agra-based Rs 400-crore Bhole Baba Milk Food Industries Ltd (BBMFIL). The order involves implementation of its ERP solution to automate BBMFIL's processes across functions and locations.

A company release said that Ramco's ERP suite would help BBMFI reduce inventory costs and overall lead-time, improve monitoring of overall cash flow, thereby increasing productivity and responding faster to the market demands.

Initially, the implementation would cover the head office and one plant at Kosi, 100 km from Agra. The winning of the order through Ramco's partner Cosmic Softech is expected to give Ramco Systems a greater visibility in the northern market for implementation of ERP solutions, the release said.

BBMFIL produces ghee and skimmed milk powder both for domestic markets and export market that includes Middle East and North Africa,
