Rapidigm to launch Dubai operations

Rapidigm India, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the global business information services provider Rapidigm, is planning to launch operations in Dubai.
 
The company has identified the Middle East as a growing market for the IT services such as enterprise resource planning (ERP), supply chain management (SCM) and business intelligence (BI).
 
"We will launch our operations within the next four months in Dubai," said Vivek Talghatti, managing director, Rapidigm India.
 
He said the company had six partners in the region with whom it had been working for the last two years. We expect this region to contribute 8-10 per cent of our revenues for this calendar year, he added.
 
Growing at 100 per cent year on year (yoy), the 800-people company is also recruiting personnels in its Noida and Pune offices.
 
"Our revenues as of december 2005 were $15 million. We will be growing both our development centres in Pune and Delhi by 600 and 300 each respectively in the next 12-18 months," said Talghatti.
 
Also on the cards is the setting up of development centres in Hyderabad and Bangalore.
 
"We will open a 200-seater development centre in Hyderabad by March and later in the year we launch of our development centre in Bangalore," said Talghatti.
