RCom adds 14.6 lakh users in July

Anil Ambani-promoted Reliance Communications (RCom) has added 14.6 lakh mobile customers during the month of July taking its total subscriber base to about 3.7 crore.

RCom added 14.5 lakh users in June, a company official said.

During the month, the company had awarded a $400 million contract to Alcatel-Lucent for wireless network expansion.It also announced a tie-up with online travel company Yatra.Com for providing facilities like hotel booking and air ticket purchase via Reliance cell phones.
