Reliance Communications (RCom) has shot off as many as six letters under the Right to Information Act demanding for the notes made by Department of Telecommunications (DoT) for granting spectrum in the 900 MHz band in West Bengal under the fourth license to operators such as Bharti and Vodafone-Essar. |
RCom points out that as per the entitlement, these operators were eligible for spectrum in the 1800 Mhz band only. |
The letters raise some key questions "� basis for such allocation in the 900 MHz, at what level this decision was taken and was there any payment made by these operators etc. |
