Reliance Globalcom appoints new NLD business head

Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG) promoted Reliance Globalcom has appointed Mandeep Bhatia as the business head of its National Long Distance (NLD) business.

Mandeep has joined Reliance Globalcom from Bharti Airtel, where he was leading the consumer mobile business as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Mumbai, Maharashtra and Goa.

In his new role, Mandeep will report to Punit Garg, president & CEO Reliance Globalcom, said a press release.

At present, Reliance Globalcom has the largest IP enabled optic fibre backbone in India spanning 1,10,000 Kms close to 1,275 Point of Interconnects (PoI), offering services in 20,000 towns and 4.5 lakh Indian villages.
