Rolta promoter divests 5% stake

Kamal K Singh, one of the promoters of Rolta India, has divested close to 5% equity in the company.

According to a release issued by the company to the NSE today, Rolta has acquired 30,00,000 shares, totalling 4.71% of the total paid up capital of Rolta India, on March 11, 2005 through inter-se transfer between promoters.

"The shareholding of Rolta after the said acquisition is 2,81,25,000 shares aggregating to 44.15% of the total paid-up capital of Rolta India," the release added.

Kamal K Singh, through his holding in Aditya Investments & Finance Corporation, has sold 30,00,000 shares, the release said.

"The mode of sale is through open market, and the shareholding of Kamal K Singh through Aditya Investments & Finance Corporation, after the said sale is 2,00,000 shares aggregating to 0.31% of the total paid-up capital of Rolta India," the release added.
