Data consumption by mobile users has grown five fold after adoption of 4G technology compared to the 2G era. With its ultra saving data mode, Samsung handset users can save up to 50 per cent data.
"The ultra saving data mode feature has been developed locally at our Noida centre. Users of Samsung handheld devices have saved around 30,000 GB of data through this feature. This apart, our Turbo Speed Technology which is also the first in the industry, makes the operating system lighter, faster and smarter. It has an intelligent memory control system wherein unwanted applications are killed and RAM (random access memory) is de-cluttered. The feature also helps downloading apps up to 40 per cent faster than devices with double the RAM," said Sumit Walia, general manager (mobile business), Samsung India Electronics.
Walia said, the Samsung Galaxy J Series is currently the largest selling smartphone series with Galaxy J2 being the largest selling smartphone.
"At Samsung, we are always looking for ways to enhance user experience and drive consumer delight.
With the advent of 4G, exponential increase in app usage and ensuing need for multi-tasking, consumers are on the lookout for high performance device. With Turbo Speed Technology, Samsung engineers have made a quantum leap in optimizing the operating system and hardware to provide consistent best-in-class performance out of the box and over time. Samsung Galaxy J2 2016 also comes with an innovative 'Smart Glow' notification system which has a wide-range of utility benefits while also adding a fresh new design element to the device", Walia said on the launch of Samsung J2 and J Max models.
The innovative Smart Glow in Galaxy J2 2016 is a next-generation colour LED notification system. This feature has been developed based on the insight that smartphones tend to get cluttered with notifications. Smart Glow consists of an LED ring around the rear camera which can be customized for priority notifications of any app or contact.
