Sanra Software to acquire Acropetal Animation

New media technology company, Sanra Software today informed BSE that the company's board has decided to acquire the business of Acropetal Animation, Bangalore.

The Existing Business of Acropetal Animation will be valued and the board has appointed a committee to take ahead the process of acquisition through Business Transfer Agreement and fix the value of the business a sum not exceeding Rs 8 crore.

The Intellectual Properties in the name of Acropetal Animation Pvt and Narsimhan (Promoter & Managing Director) shall be produced and marketed globally on a royalty sharing basis and the board expects that this has the potential of generating income of about $10 million in the next 2-3 years.

Acropetal Animation India is the brainchild of N K Narasimhan who is a pioneer in Indian animation. The board of Sanra expects that this synergy can strengthen Sanra's vision of being an original content creator to greater heights.
