SAP India is looking at triple digit sales growth for its small and medium enterprises (SMEs) solutions.

Currently, sales from the SME sector contribute close to 45 per cent to SAP India's overall revenues, which is likely to go up to 50 per cent by 2010.

"The sales growth for SAP's SME solutions will mainly come from verticals such as manufacturing and services", said a SAP official on the sidelines of SME East organised by CII in the city.

SAP India is also planning to launch pre-packed enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions for SMEs this year which will do away with time spent on ERP implementation, hardware and maintenance.

"As of now the solutions we have need two months for complete implementation. We realised that clients want a plug-and-play solution and do not want to spend time on ERP implementation, reason why we have come up with this solution," the official informed.

Christened 'SAP business by design', the solution is expected to be launched by July this year and will be priced on per user per month basis.

"Although the pricing structure has not been finalised yet, it will be less than Rs 10,000 per user per month," the official said.

Customers will be given a secure ID which will allow them to log on and start using the ERP.
