SAP India is looking at triple digit sales growth for its small and medium enterprises (SMEs) solutions. |
Currently, sales from the SME sector contribute close to 45 per cent to SAP India's overall revenues, which is likely to go up to 50 per cent by 2010. |
"The sales growth for SAP's SME solutions will mainly come from verticals such as manufacturing and services", said a SAP official on the sidelines of SME East organised by CII in the city. |
SAP India is also planning to launch pre-packed enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions for SMEs this year which will do away with time spent on ERP implementation, hardware and maintenance. |
"As of now the solutions we have need two months for complete implementation. We realised that clients want a plug-and-play solution and do not want to spend time on ERP implementation, reason why we have come up with this solution," the official informed. |
Christened 'SAP business by design', the solution is expected to be launched by July this year and will be priced on per user per month basis. |
"Although the pricing structure has not been finalised yet, it will be less than Rs 10,000 per user per month," the official said. |
Customers will be given a secure ID which will allow them to log on and start using the ERP. |
