Sapient expands its presence in Bangalore

Sapient Technologies on Wednesday announced that it has moved into a new 70,000 sq ft office in Whitefield to accommodate its full range of service offerings including application design, development, management and outsourcing.

This facility will help it meet the increasing demand for its services. Sapient recently announced a 30 per cent year-on-year growth in revenue in the first quarter of 2005.

Currently, Sapient's offices in New Delhi and Bangalore account for approximately 54 per cent of Sapient's global workforce.

"The move to this new, larger location underscores our commitment to providing a world-class environment for our people as well as reflects an increase in demand for our services," said Sheeroy Desai, chief operating officer, Sapient.
