Satyam bags 'Vendor/Client collaboration' award

Satyam Computer Services Limited has announced that the company won the 'Vendor/Client Collaboration Award' at the Global Sourcing Summit, hosted in San Diego, California, from November 1 to November 3, 2005. The award recognises effectiveness in delivering successful consumer alliance.

One of the goals of the event was to bring together decision-makers and leading sourcing providers, expand market knowledge, cultivate business relationships, and network in a constructive environment.

Attendees explored practical examples of how organisations should approach and implement their sourcing strategies by reviewing Gartner analyst presentations, industry panel discussions, and case study presentations by service providers.

Sourcing executives examined governance models, knowledge management and relationship models that work effectively for nearshore and offshore sourcing.
