Satyam Computer Services, India's fourth largest software exporter, is targeting a 30 per cent revenue from the Europe by financial year 2010, a top company official said.

"Our vision is to have 30 per cent of global revenue coming out of the Europe by FY10," Satyam Continental (Europe Head) Peter Heij told reporters here.

In second quarter of current fiscal, revenue from Europe was 20.60 per cent of Satyam's total revenue of $652 million. The US market has contributed 62.03 per cent of Satyam's revenue in the quarter.

"We are hopeful of bagging two very large $100 million plus contracts besides another 30 contracts worth $10 million each by FY10 from Europe," Heij said.

Growth from Europe would come through more acquisitions and by venturing into new markets, such as the Nordic countries and eastern Europe, Heij said.

The company has recently acquired Nitor Global Solutions and Citisoft Plc in the UK and S&V Management Consultants in Belgium.

"We invested carefully and at the right places," Heij said, adding that Satyam sees higher growth in project-based services, infrastructure related outsourcing and BPO in Germany by FY11. Satyam also sees large opportunities in France and Russia.
