Satyam Computer Services has won a three-year contract extension from food and beverage company Nestle. According to a release issued by Satyam to the BSE today, the company is working with Nestle to establish global business practices based on a common technology platform, and will provide services ranging from software development, maintenance, and support to infrastructure management. "As a result of this agreement, the number of company consultants working for Nestle is expected to grow close to 500 over the next year," the release added. "We are extremely pleased to be continuing our work with Nestle," Subu D Subrarmanian, director and senior vice president (manufacturing & automotive practice), Satyam said. "We measure business success in many ways but none more important than long-term relationships. With Nestle, we are equally proud of the results we delivered and the strength of our partnership." |
