Satyam is top IT exporter from Andhra Pradesh

The Andhra Pradesh government today announced the awards for top performers in the IT, ITeS and hardware sectors for 2005-06.

The awards will be given away on the opening day of the annual IT expo, GITEX India-2007, on January 9, 2007.

Hyderabad-based Satyam Computer Services has once again been awarded the top exporter in the IT sector with a turnover of Rs 1,987.3 crore followed by Wipro with Rs 1,221.46 crore.

Microsoft India (R&D) has been ranked as the top MNC exporter in the IT sector with a gross turnover of Rs 720.50 crore followed by Oracle India with a turnover of Rs 229.99 crore from the Andhra operations.
