Satyam Computer Services Limited and Microsoft China announced that they have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to jointly develop a multi-billion dollar enterprise solutions market on the Microsoft platform in the Greater China region.

The move is aimed at leveraging products from Microsoft alongside solutions and services from Satyam, a press release said here today.

The MoU agrees to establish a Satyam-Microsoft Adaptive Solutions centre in the Greater China region, which will showcase Satyam's global state-of-the-art capabilities -- enterprise architecture, application integration, Microsoft dynamics solutions, business intelligence, infrastructure solutions and portals leveraging Microsoft products and tools, the release said.

A significant pool of skilled Satyam Enterprise architects and business will staff the centre/technology consultants who will focus on reduction of total cost of ownership (TCO) and will enhance return on investment, Satyam said.

The MoU targets manufacturing, telecom, automotive, banking, financial services, healthcare, retail, consumer goods, travel, logistics and retail market segments where business solution innovation, integration with global systems and agility are driving new-age solutions for customers, it said.
