Satyam to announce three major deals tomorrow

Satyam Computer Services, a leading global consulting and IT solutions provider, is expected to announce three multi-million dollar acquisitions in Singapore, Australia and the Middle East region tomorrow.

While the details of the deals are not known, the two multi-million dollar deals from the Singapore government are primarily in the outsourcing and IT services contracts space. Satyam is addressing the on-going initiative by Singapore to outsource its government's IT needs to reap the gains of technological revolution and sizeable macroeconomic benefits under its iGov vision.

In Middle East, the global IT major is signing a strategic contract tomorrow to implement an Enterprise Financial Management solution which will meet the requirements of the various entities that form part of one of the leading banks in the region. These deals, according to the company, are among the largest hauls to-date in the specific regions following its participation in recent public and private tenders.

In Australia, Satyam will deliver Application Development and Maintenance (ADM) and Consulting Services to one of Australia
