Scandent unit buys SAP services provider

Scandent Solutions Corporation Limited, an IT and BPO firm, has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Scandent Group Inc., USA has acquired US-based Nexplicit.
 
Nexplicit is a system applications and products (SAP) services provider with a focus in the entertainment and high-technology manufacturing industries, a company release said.
 
"SAP continues to dominate the enterprise solutions market and we are delighted to augment our presence in the area with the acquisition of Nexplicit," said Dilip Keshu, Scandent?s chief strategy and corporate development officer in a statement.
 
"We are impressed with Nexplicit's strong management team, client base and client relations which will provide numerous synergistic opportunities. The addition of this profitable company will also boost revenue and margins for Scandent?s IT division," he added.
 
Nexplicit, an SAP vertical solution reseller (VSR), is both an authorised SAP business partner and SAP service provider, and works with Fortune 500 companies. The company which has a revenue of $13 million in the previous calender, has more than 110 professionals located in India and the US.
 
"This is a win-win partnership where our clients will benefit from Scandent's broad suite of capabilities and proven global services delivery," said Hemant Agrawal, president, Nexplicit.
 
"Scandent's size and scope will broaden our sales reach, enhance our SAP and other offerings, and generally increase our depth and ability to serve our clients," he added.
