According to Sie-mens, iNeevM can be adopted to provide social media benefits to broadcast and publishing sectors along with unexplored specialised segments like educational institutes among others.
According to Siemens, iNeevM enables content owners and service providers to manage and deliver digital media content over the Internet to a large volume of online users within an environment of social media and advertisement management. “It protects against infringement of content rights and enables incremental revenue streams by supporting different business models such as personalised advertising and pay-per-view models. iNeevM supports local, remote and live ingest, automated transcoding, frame-accurate annotation for stored and incoming live feeds, proof-reading and online collaboration including comments, ratings, feedback and user-generated content,” company officials noted.
Additionally, the platform provides a service where content can be offered as an immediate, mid-quality, in-browser experience or as a good quality download. The features provided within iNeevM includes personalised Catch-up TV with geo-specific lock, content discovery and integration into an enterprise digital backbone, usage reporting and flexible advertisement management which offers banner advertisements synchronised with advertisements embedded within the delivered media content.
