Hyderabad-based Sitosys eMedia on Friday launched Propiedad (taken from Spanish word La Propiedad, which means property in English), a real estate web application portal offering services and solutions for residential, commercial, urban and rural properties.

“We have invested $100,000 (Rs 54 lakh) in developing Propiedad application. Properties in Warangal, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Kurnool, Rajahmundry and Vijayawada will feature on the app over the next two months. Major cities like Bangalore, Chennai and Kochi will be covered by July 2013,” Vijay Kashyap Reddy, managing director of Sitosys eMedia, said in a release.

The application, developed on the .Net technology platform, offers features like interoperability, common language runtime engine and security. It enables hassle-free browsing, and tools to help property buyers to search in the local listings as well as the long-distance listings.

Propiedad will also offer constantly-revolving price updates of the products and materials in the realty industry, specialised search options, realtime business reporting, detailed property descriptions, pictures and list of amenities, and social media marketing and tools.

“The site will be updated on a daily basis, and we will soon be launching applications for iPad and iPhone, Windows, Android and Java-enabled platforms,” Reddy said.
