Smartron’s t.Phone P (Rs 7,999), exclusively available on Flipkart, comes under the sub-8K category of budget phones and takes on the likes of Redmi 5A and Tenor E.

The main highlights of this phone are a 5,000 mAh battery and OTG reverse charging support — which means the phone can be used as a power bank — which sets it apart from competitors. Even after a day of heavy usage, the review unit had 30 per cent charge left.

The device is sleek and sturdy with an easy grip. The fingerprint scanner at the back is very responsive.
