Solix Technologies, a leading provider of enterprise data management solutions, has announced Oracle validated integration of Solix EDMS 4.5 with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 8.12.

Through the Oracle PartnerNetwork Applications Integration Initiative, partners with validated integrations are able to provide customers with standards-based product integrations, tested and validated by Oracle. Customers benefit from improved risk management and smoother upgrade capability, leading to a lower total cost of ownership and greater overall satisfaction.

Solix EDMS seamlessly integrates with various enterprise resource planning solutions and custom applications to relocate historical data from production to archive. The metadata repository is platform independent and can support any RDBMS, including Oracle Database. Solix EDMS generates reusable ANSI SQL code, so the configurations can migrate data from one database to another.

The solution provides features such as it allows complex business validations to be built on the tables to be archived, ensures data referential integrity, eliminates the need to synchronise procedures every time a patch is applied and ensures complete and secure archiving the data.

Solix EDMS for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne has provided us with the capability of using tiered storage to optimise our transactional speed and to reduce our overall storage cost,” commented Mike MacKinzie, vice president, Infrastructure and Operations, IMP Group International, Inc. “All of this while providing our customers with seamless access to both live and archived data.”
