Parwanoo-based Spice Digital Ltd has signed an agreement with Zoom Developers Pvt Ltd for starting mobile governance services from common service centres run by Zoom in Himachal Pradesh.
The MoU was signed between COO, Spice Digital Vinish Kathuria and Head, Zoom developers. A K Tiwari at the India International Trade Fair at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi on Monday.
”Himachal is one of the first states to effectively implement mobile governance in the state. Under the MoU, Spice Digital will provide value added services through 600 common service centres, set up by Zoom Developers in Una, Hamirpur, Kangra and Chamba districts,” said Dilip Modi, chairman Spice Digital. “The number of service centres will be later increased to around 1,000.These centres will be run by local villagers trained by the company,” he said.
