Bangalore-based Subex Azure has bagged contracts to provide fraud management (FM) and revenue assurance (RA) solutions from Global Vision Telecom (GVT) in Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to be deployed in its Prestel and U-COM Congo CDMA networks.

According to a release issued by Subex Azure, Telecel International, which is managing the investments for Global Vision Telecom, recommended it to acquire the fraud management and revenue assurance systems. Prestel and U-COM Congo are owned by Global Vision Telecom.

Subex Azure is planning to deploy the Nikira Fraud Management System and the Moneta Revenue Assurance System for the telecom companies. Using rules-based alarms and artificial intelligence driven pattern matching to identify likely fraudulent usage, Nikira enables operators to detect known fraud types and patterns of unusual behaviour in all telecoms environments
