Subex Systems, the telecom revenue maximisation product company, announced here on Tuesday that they had entered into a partnership with Teradata. |
Teradata is a division of NCR Corporation, and a provider of enterprise analytic technologies and services including data warehouses, CRM and ERP. |
Under the partnership, Subex will be integrating its solutions, Ranger Fraud Management System and Incharge Revenue Assurance, with the Teradata data warehouse product and offer it as a complete solution. |
This integrated solution will be out by the second quarter of the year. So far, Subex solutions were available only on the Oracle equivalent of the data warehouse product. |
"Teradata's leadership in the telco market is evidenced by the fact that 80 per cent of the top global telecommunication companies rely on its superior data warehousing technology to remain competitive," said Subhash Menon, president and CEO of Subex Systems. |
According to Subex, by way of this partnership, both companies will be involved in selling each other's products using their distribution and channel network where applicable, across the globe. |
The partnership is built on a revenue sharing basis but no details were available on how exactly Subex revenues will be affected by the partnership. |
In a separate announcement, Singapore-based Matterhorn Advisory has informed that they have made a fresh acquisition of 39,678 shares in Subex Systems through their various sub-accounts. |
This takes the total number of shares held by Matterhorn to 6,64,871 shares, aggregating to 7.17 per cent of the share capital of Subex Systems. |
It might be recalled that one of the co-promoters of Subex Systems had recently offloaded 13 lakh shares in a block deal. |
