Infosys Technologies may soon see another high-profile exit. Subhash Dhar, Senior Vice-President and head (innovations), is understood to have put in his papers, after he was denied board membership, according to TV reports.
Dhar, a company veteran who had been with Infosys for the last 14 years, was the head of global sales till the company appointed an ex-Infoscion, Basab Pradhan to head the segment. Dhar was given the charge of the company’s newly-formed innovation practice. While the company would announce the names of the new board members tomorrow, sources said Dhar might have decided to quit after reports that he would not be inducted to the board.
On being asked if he has resigned from the company, Dhar, through a text message, said, “Can’t comment.”
In April, T V Mohandas Pai, a board member and the then- chief of human resources and administration, had resigned from the company, citing personal reasons. It was widely believed Pai took the decision after being denied the position of chief executive and managing director.
