Currently functioning in a beta version, the services will soon be opened up for its customers through its job portal.
"Our internal survey shows that atleast one out of every six resumes are either faked or fudged. With this service, we intend to conduct background verification on behalf of our clients information on their potential employees during the recruitment processes," said Viral Vora, managing director of Talent Now Solutions.
According to Vora, a company loses anywhere between Rs 1 lakh to 5 lakh per candidate with a fake resume.
"One out of six candidates highlight distorted facts in their resumes which can be detrimental to the company. By the time, the company realises it has hired a wrong candidate without verifying his background, it loses between Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh per candidate. With this service, we intend lessen such losses by 60-70 per cent," he added.
Apart from conducting background verification for its clients, the company will also upload an option on its job portal for job seekers to give consent on such verification.
"When a job seekers gives consent for being verified, he is indirectly making a statement that his resume is genuine. This reduces the risk for our clients to a large extent," said Vora.
Talent Now Solutions is part of US-based Vora Ventures, a technology investment company with interests in software products, software services and technology parks.
