Tata Teleservices Ltd (TTSL) is aiming for a 3-4 per cent jump in marketshare of its telecom service brand Tata Indicom in Gujarat for fiscal 2007-08. |
The telecom service provider is expecting the rise in its marketshare given the value-added services and schemes introduced by it. |
"Although it all depends on the market, the company is expecting 3-4 per cent more marketshare for Tata Indicom in Gujarat. Presently, we enjoy a market share of 9 per cent in the state," said Manish Singh, Head-Marketing, TTSL Gujarat. |
TTSL recently launched 'Freedom Call Voucher' across the country. The voucher, available at Rs 325, offers free and unlimited outgoing calls to any local Tata (fixed or mobile) phone for 30 days validity, the company claimed. |
The voucher also comes with a bonus talk time of Rs 150 for other calls and low calling rates for local other mobiles and local other fixed line numbers. |
Present in over 4,000 cities across 24 districts in Gujarat, TTSL has a coverage of 1.83 crore population. Presently, the company has a subscriber base of eight lakh subscribers in Gujarat and intends to raise it further. |
"We expect to increase our subscriber base as well and we are hopeful the Freedom Call Voucher will be play a catalyst in this," added Singh. |
