Tata Teleservices has repositioned its fixed wireless phone (FWP) service Walky with a new advertising theme in line with the Trai directive.

"We have replaced the earlier advertising catchline of Walky as `Freedom of mobility at landline rates' to `Do more at landline rates'. We are repositiong Walky on this theme. With this, all regulatory objections have been taken care of," Naresh Malhan, COO (Delhi & Rajasthan) of Tata Teleservices, said, adding the word mobility had been removed.

The repositioning of Walky comes after Trai and the department of telecom objected to its earlier advertising slogan saying it was misleading and a violation of the licence agreement.
